Loans
Do you need a loan quickly? If you do, we can help you. We’ll lend you money against your assets without credit checks or a guarantor. Pop in and talk to us at any of our shops. You’ll find us in Truro, Falmouth, and Penzance.
What kind of assets can I use?
You can use anything that has a higher value than the amount you want to borrow. In the past, we’ve accepted:
- A car
- A boat
- A luxury watch
- Jewellery or gold
- Artwork
- Collectables
- Antiques
- Land
- Property
How much can I borrow?
You can borrow from £150 up to £250,000 for between 1 and 6 months.
How much is the interest?
We charge you 10% a month. For example, say you borrow £600 for 6 months. You’ll pay us £100, plus interest at £60, which is a monthly payment of £160. Over 6 months you will have paid back £960 in total.
Can I pay the loan early?
Yes. If you want to pay more, you can. If you pay the loan back early, you’ll save some of the interest payments.
What happens to my assets while I have the loan?
We place your assets in secure storage. When you have paid the loan, you get your assets back.
What do I need to do?
First of all, we’ll value your assets and then make you an offer. If you agree we then need 2 forms of I.D. We will then issue you with a contract. Once it is signed and you have a copy, we will take possession of the asset and give you the cash.
What forms of I.D. are eligible?
We accept many forms of ID. Contact us if you don’t have the following:
- A British or International passport
- A driving licence, a utility bill
- A tenancy agreement
- A utility bill
Whether you wish to contact us through our website or in-person, you can access secured loans against your assets, such as jewellery, art, antiques, watches, and designer goods. We’ll consider anything from a diamond ring to a speed boat, motor vehicle, land and even property. It costs nothing for a valuation so feel free to give us a call or fill out the enquiry form or pop in to one of our three stores.
Pawnbroking loans are an easy and fast way for you to raise funds:
- You can borrow £150 to £250,000 for up to six months
- You don’t need to have a credit check or guarantor
- You can make repayments anytime during your loan period
We’ll hold your items securely in one of our safes for the duration of your pawn loan and, once your balance is paid off, you get your assets back — it’s as easy as that!
If you have any questions please get in touch.
Pawn loans are an ideal solution if you have bad credit, or simply need a flexible short-term loan. Don’t forget that you can simply sell your valuables, too: we buy gold, silver, platinum, jewellery, watches, antiques, and more. To get started, apply for a quote online or visit your local branch.
- You bring an item in to us or send a request online for a valuation by contacting us.
- We will let you know how much we can lend based on the resale value of the item you offer for security.
- If you accept the offer you must register in store with at least two forms of I.D. (as seen below)
- Once registered we will issue you with a pawnbroking contract.
- You can redeem the goods at any time during the 6 month period and only pay interest the days you had the loan.
You MUST keep your pawnbroking contract safe and return with it to collect the item. To collect the goods you must pay the original loan amount plus interest owed. Partial payments can be made at any time throughout the Pawnbroking agreement reducing the interest owed and payable. At the end of the first 6 months you may also take out a new agreement for a further 6 months but we don't recommend using pawnbroking for long term lending, it is a great product for short-term lending.
